🌙 Phu Quoc After Dark: Beach, Bites & Street Food Surprises! 🍜🔥
After a productive workday by the poolside and a refreshing 2km swim, I headed out to catch the sunset in Phu Quoc. 🌅 Today was another hot one at 31°C (feeling like 37°C), but the evening breeze made it perfect for exploring.
Here’s how my evening went:
🐩 Poodle Luck & Fresh Juice:
On the way, I petted a cute poodle for good luck 🍀 and stopped for my current favorite fresh juice—orange, pineapple, and passion fruit, no sugar—for 35k VND ($1.4 / €1.3) at a local stall.
🏖️ Sunset at Long Beach:
I walked along Long Beach with my feet in the waves, but it was a cloudy evening, so the sunset wasn’t full. Still, the peaceful vibes were worth it.
🍜 Dinner at Local Restaurant:
For dinner, I tried the chicken Bún (rice noodles in spicy broth) at 📍 Local Restaurant for 80k VND ($3.2 / €3.1). I added extra spicy sauce—it was hot, spicy, and tasty! My rating: 7/10.
🌙 Night Market Treats:
After dinner, I walked to the night market, petting another lucky poodle along the way 🐩✋🍀. I tried a Banh crêpe (Vietnamese-style French pancake) with fresh mango and chocolate sauce for 45k VND ($1.8 / 1.75€). Sadly, the condensed milk made it too sweet, so I’d rate it 4/10.
A relaxing evening with a mix of hits and misses, but that’s what makes exploring Phu Quoc so fun! 🌴✨
