Today we’re trying Mr Steak Indonesia in Kuta, Bali, to see what’s on the menu and whether this local steak restaurant is worth visiting. The owner, Linda, shows us the kitchen and how they prepare their 120g local beef steak, served on a hot plate with vegetables and homemade French fries. One of the biggest surprises? The fries are made fresh from local potatoes in the restaurant, rather than coming frozen. They’re cooked once, served hot, and turned out crispy on the outside and soft inside. We also try the steak with their black pepper sauce and homemade tomato sauce, along with fresh vegetables, garlic and rosemary.
